So Monday evening went something like this:
I get home at 1915 and rush upstairs to change into a pair of jeans. Napi and I are going to see a special release of the cult classic Boondock Saints (available - again - today on DVD) and the movie starts at 2000. I set the VCR to tape Oprah's Ball or something like that, for Napi, and set the DVD player downstairs to record the season finale of 24 - the greatest show on television! Unbeknownst to me, Peanut has commenced kicking the crapola out of Napi.
We get to the theater and after a special interview with the guy who wrote Boondock, we watch the movie. Throughout the entire thing Peanut is kicking like a mad man. We buy some nachos thinking any kind of food in her system might help, but nothing...the boy keeps kicking.
By the time we get home he is absolutely livid in there. He's kicking, punching, rolling around, and the entire time Napi is wincing in pain. Something's up with this kid. We read somewhere that this is a period of time where his activity level will taper off as he gets too big to move around inside Napi. Quite the opposite seems to be happening. He's going crazy in there. Of course, this prompts my automatic response...Should we call the doctor?
BTW, did you see 24 last night!? That's good stuff. Looks like Jack will have his hands full next year!!!
