Maternity Jeans?

As the baby takes shape, Napi finds herself running out of clothing she likes to wear. She tried some of those maternity jeans - you know the ones with the elastic waist - but she's not feeling them. So everyday I watch the exercise of her going into her closet, trying on a few outfits, and invariably arriving at the conclusion that she needs to buy new clothes. We're signed up at the Pregnancy Weekly site, and each week the site kicks out a newsletter updating us on the progress of our baby's development and providing little tips on things that we can or should be doing as we progress towards the big day. This week's newsletter mentions the fact that at this stage of her pregnancy Napi should be showing, even if just a little, and that she should probably consider visiting a maternity clothing store. The problem is, my wife is fly! And the maternity clothes...well...not so fly! It will be interesting to see whether she adopts some of the maternity stuff we've seen (and by the way, Ralph Lauren himself must be sewing the stuff, cause it's expensive as hell!) or continues to try and work around it.

This morning something interesting happened. Napi thought she could feel the baby moving. Now, we are not sure whether she should be feeling the baby doing anything at this point (roughly, the 4 month mark), but at least twice this morning she thought she could detect some sort of movement. We think it might have been gas (you're thinking too much info, right!?) but it just may be that Peanut is trying to bust a move in there!
