On the Ground

After perhaps the most illogical and just flat out bizarre route ever, I'm in South Florida with an anticipated arrival in St. Louis tomorrow. Now I know how NOT to do this the next time around. Overheard Ami' blowing kisses while on the phone with Napi this morning. Can't wait to see him. I remember the leaps and bounds in changes after a 1-week trip to St. Louis last year. Can only imagine how much he's changed in the 4+ months since I've been gone. Come tomorrow evening - ok, technically Monday morning - he'll have 2-weeks of the old man constantly trying to smother him in hugs and kisses. I'm taking bets on whether he'll just flat out run away when he sees me!
