Just got back from picking up Amiri's only Aunt. This kid is hilarious. Anyone with breast is a potential source for food. So as soon as you hand him off to someone with a chest he immediate goes for it. He's a greedy little something.
We called the pediatrician this morning and the report is that we should relax. We definitely over-fed him yesterday and we've been ordered to stop feeding the boy every time he starts chewing his hands off. Tough thing to do since at that point he's usually flailing about all over the place. We'll be swaddling the heck out of this kid from here on out. The yellow in his eyes is apparently normal for a kid who has had a touch of jaundice. Apparently that's the last bit of yellow to leave the body. And his dark lips have been dismissed for just the reason islandB stated - his complexion is getting darker. No need to bring him in for a visit so we'll wait until his next scheduled appointment which is on Tuesday. A lot of fussing today and he continues to cry for food but overall he's doing fine. One thing though - doesn't appear he's pooping enough. Plenty of pee - but not much poop. We'll ask about that on Tuesday. For now he gets to play with Auntie Tee and continue to eat his face off.
