Almost 8cm dilated now. Just got a flash of the debris flowing from the 'spot' and fellas I gotta tell ya - head of the bed is where it's at!
New developments:
1. Shivering, as though she's freezing cold though she says she isn't. According to the doc, probably the epidural.
2. Whenever she has a long, hard contraction, Peanut's heartrate takes a nose dive. Two possible reasons for this. It could be that his umbilical chord, or the contraction is putting pressure on the chord. We can now tell when she's having a contraction because the steady beat suddenly drops.
