Our final shower went down without a hitch this afternoon and it was a blast. Turnout wasn't quite what we expected, but that didn't matter - we know there were many who couldn't make it for any number of reasons and they were certainly there with us in spirit. Lots of gifts from our very generous friends and Peanut comes out of this loaded up with gear! By the way, can anyone tell us why pants made for kids aged 0-3 months have 5 pockets on them? Does the kid whip out his pacifier and stick it in a pocket until he's ready for it again? Is he sitting in his crib with his hands tucked in his pocket checking out the scenery flashing by? We haven't quite figured that out yet...
As for Peanut, he was pretty quiet throughout the whole deal. He must have sensed this was a good thing for him and decided to chill out and soak it all in.
